I’m so glad the Giants held off the LA Whiners for the NL West title. If the Cards can eliminate the Dodgers in one game in front of their horrendous fans at Dodger Stadium, I will be a happy camper.
I was hoping to see the Skankees eliminated in one game in front of their fans, but they didn’t secure home field advantage for the WC game. If the Red Sox eliminate them in one game at Fenway and send them back to the Bronx with their butts soundly thrashed, I will take that.

I give the Cardinals a good shot of beating the Dodgers. No team has been hotter than them over the last month. I think the Red Sox get rid of the Yankees. I love seeing the Yankees spend all that money and then have nothing to show for it. The Red Sox could be hurt by JD Martinez tripping over second base today and getting injured.

That's what happens when the Yankees and/or Red Sox are in the playoffs. We all knew.

More Good News
As much as were on the Astors the last couple months with the Offense. Going into the Postseason the Astros offense is the top-rated. In Runs and the number of players with an OPS over 800 (7) and 2 more just under

Bregman really needs to get it going. He finished the regular season on a 0-16 streak. He batted .138 with a .502 OPS over his last 15 games. That’s not gonna getter done.

An alternative strategy is maybe they should try Bregman bat leadoff as patient as he is. It also gives a better runner in front of Altuve for RBI purposes, and it allows Bregman to not have the pressure of driving in runners as often.

To me it’s like why not have the most patient guy on the team bat first? The only problem is Altuve’s outs don’t usually move runners. It’s worth it, though.

Bregman needs to be dropped down in the lineup, but, we can expect Dusty to keep him right where is and harming the offense by doing so. He is doing nothing but hitting popups and weak fly balls. I wonder if he will "protect his quad" in the post season and avoid trying to run at full speed.

Altuve leading off is set in stone even though he has a tendency to go up there at hack away at the first pitch no matter where the pirch is located. Bregman leading off isn't a bad idea, and, I would also consider Correa leading off,. He did it and was successful at it when Altuve was in protocol bullshit.

The way Correa hit last postseason, I wouldn’t move him around. I want Correa, Tucker, Yuli. and Alvarez in the middle of the lineup. Correa would probably be a decent leadoff hitter, but, he's more valuable in the middle. Bregman has no business hitting third. I'd put Yuli there and leave him. Since there is no way Dusty moves Altuve out of the leadoff spot, Bregman should be dropped to six or seven. He is not getting it done in the three spot which is where you want your best hitter. Yuli won the batting title so I'd put him there.

I would go Tucker Brantley Altuve Correa Yuli Alvarez Bregman Maldonado/Castro Meyers
