I can't find a site that has them. MLB used to have a page for all the winter leagues but it's been defunct for a few years now.

I can't find a site that has them. MLB used to have a page for all the winter leagues but it's been defunct for a few years now. It was/is not easy to find the numbers for our guys playing in the winter leagues. I ran across an article about Pena playing winter league ball for Estrellas in the DWL in the 2020-2021 season. So I figured that is where he would play winter league ball this season. Right now if you go to the AFL website and pull up gameday to check on our guys who are playing for GDD, there is a ticker showing the scores of the winter league games across the top of the AFL gameday page. I click on the Est score and it pulls up gameday for the Estrellas game that day. Once the AFL season ends I’ll have to find another way to keep up with Pena. I have not found any source this year that lists all the players from each mlb team playing winter ball, what league they are playing in and what team they are playing for.

Glad that Leon turned things around after a sluggish start and ended up with a passable performance. Clearly not ready yet but a full year in AAA could make him a factor for 2023. Kessinger looked a lot better as well. The promoted him really aggressively so maybe his mediocre numbers this year were just him having a bit of a shock to the system, so to speak. Gotta love Record. Seems like every time we have a pitching prospect named Joe they perform well and become a favorite of mine (Musgrove) LOL.

In fact, the info there indicates that he was drafted from Minnesota in the AAA phase of the Rule 5 last off season.

They’d better hope Peña is either A-Rod or Everett because the dropoff from Correa will be significant.

They’d better hope Peña is either A-Rod or Everett because the dropoff from Correa will be significant. Depending on who the team signs to replace Correa’s bat, the overall drop off may not be as significant as one would think. For example: In 2021 Correa posted a 5.2 oWAR for the season. In 2021 Starling Marte posted a 5.1 oWAR. If the Astros signed Marte to be the regular center fielder, his bat should offset the loss of Correa’s bat. If we sign Marte to play CF...and replace Correa’s offense..., Pena doesn’t have to replace Correa with the bat. Pena’s bat would have to replace the bat of Chas/Meyers/Siri who would be displaced by Marte. Pena is said to have an elite glove. If we sign Marte and place Pena in the SS position to replace Correa’s glove, there should not be a significant drop off.

Bregman and Altuve can only do so much on defense. Altuve’s range is okay but the arm is doodoo. Bregman’s arm is okay but the range is doodoo. If Peña can compare defensively in range (not expecting Correa-level arm strength), having him as the SS with Marte in CF is okay.

This doesn't apply to everyone, but after 2020 when Correa chewed out Framber and then hit the walkoff bomb in the ALCS, a lot of people, especially casuals, are on the "he's the heart and soul of the team, the leader, we can't lose him or everyone else will curl up into the fetal position and we'll lose 162 games!!!!!" train.

Correa isn’t irreplaceable, but his impact will be missed. Bregman’s sad demeanor doesn’t look like a ‘rallying the troops’ sort of thing.

The noteworthy thing about that isn’t that Correa yells at him but more the fact that he constantly needs the yelling.

Reading Kevin Goldstein's chat this week, and he pointed out something I totally didn't think about and should have; if there is a work stoppage on December 1st, especially depending on how long it lasts, there likely won't be a Rule 5 draft this off-season at all. So it could be much ado about nothing.

I guess we'll burn that bridge when we get to it.

I guess we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. Depends on how long things take. Goldstein mentioned in another part of his chat that he thinks the chance are "significant but less than 50%" that the stoppage affects Opening Day. If it's going to go long enough that there is a real chance of OD being pushed back, then you have to imagine it will likely take until at least the beginning of Spring Training. It would be really strange to have a Rule 5 at that point.
