I think Carlos will have to come off of the desire for a contract of 8-10 years if he is to re-sign with Houston.

I want the Pena era to start, have stated that a few times. I now think Correa will stay. Dodgers and Yankees don't want him. Rangers got Seager and Detroit got Baez.

What are your expectations for a utility guy? That all depends on who else you have on the bench. But versatility is paramount. Being capable of providing good defense at all four infield positions would be great. If he could also cover corner OF when needed, that would be icing on the cake. At the plate, something close to 100 OPS+ would be awesome.

We could use that 2.5 million somewhere else. We're okay in 2022 but looking ahead to 2023, arb salaries will become a major issue. The following players are currently pre-arb and will see their first arb in 2023: Josh James Framber Valdez Yordan Álvarez Kyle Tucker Jose Urquidy Cristian Javier Blake Taylor

I hope he is, those others MUST stay long time....

Taylor, like Raley, is a lefty specialist who is a coin-flip against righthanders.

This is probably my favorite collision. The catcher had cojones of steel. Much respect to that guy. The baserunner was a dummy for everything prior to the collision. Zero baserunning skill there.
