Javier’s 3 shut out innings were so clutch! PoG: Javier, Altuve, or Castro?

Nice story for Castro. Coming back to Houston after all these years and becoming a postseason hero.

Javier’s 3 shut out innings were so clutch! PoG: Javier, Altuve, or Castro? The offense was a real team effort. I'd still go Javier. None of this happens if the team isn't in the game and focused if Javier blows up.

Nice story for Castro. Coming back to Houston after all these years and becoming a postseason hero. How do you make Houston love Castro? Never start him so he can't whine at umpires and annoy us, just use him to get clutch late hits. Unintentional brilliance from Dusty LOL

I've seen this bunch enough to know that they can explode at any time. And they just did. And that playing over their head shit for Boston went bye-bye that inning. Stay tuned.

I agree they can come out put a lot of runs on the board in a heart beat. I just kinda wish they would have done it when Boston had hit one the Grand Slams. That would have really shook them up

We'll know tomorrow if the switch has flipped or not.

If Castro isn't starting tomorrow... With Sale pitching for them and Valdez for us, I guarantee Maldonado's no-hitting slow ass will start. Castro comes in and drives in the winning run and the stupid SOB will still start Maldonado. He pulled the right strings with the pen tonight. Why he decided to pinch hit for McCormick is mind boggling.

PoG: Javier, Altuve, or Castro? that is tough but I am going with Javier. In this order: Castro, Javier, Brantley, Graveman, Altuve, Bregman, Taylor, Maton and then the rest

The main thing is that the bullpen was lights out, the offense rose up and did what was necessary, and, we snatched the momentum going into tomorrow's game. We know we can't lose the series in Boston.

LMAO Double was good..but I think Castro's hit was the biggest...Javier kept the Astros in the game... Brantley's hit scored the most runs....Graveman was the winning pitcher and did great through 2 innings.....Altuve tied the game and created the momentum....Bregman HR in 1st inning was the statement that yesterday's game was yesterday, not today....Taylor took over for Greinke and pitched the team out of a jam, Maton did very well....so if it makes you feel better, when I said rest, Correa can be the first of the rest.

And BTW, Carlos should have had a triple....he didn't run as hard as he can, because he was unaware that Renfrow was having trouble with fielding....Carlos is lucky that lack of awareness didn't hurt the Astros, b/c it's better to be at 3B, with no outs, as opposed to 2B

I won't mind Castro not starting tomorrow vs. Sale, who is nasty + Castro's splits against LHP are awful. But as soon as Sale is out of the game, Castro should get in the next time the 9th spot comes up.

Glad we survived the terrible AB from Tucker and Dusty's dumb move pinch hitting for McCormick. Castro keeps making Dusty look like an idiot for not starting him. LOL I am esoecially glad we hung that loss on Eovaldi. Maybe he will learn to keep his mouth shut.

Neither Maldonado nor Castro will hit Sale.

Everyone else enjoying this rollercoaster?
My choice for PoG is Javier. Just for the sheer reason that the cocky Sox batters finally realized they weren't invincible. After bashing the ball 20 innings, we finally messed their timing up.
We have the big Mo now. Framber tomorrow, and Evoldi was wasted for prob. a 1/3 of a start.
