Lots of money available but also a couple big holes to fill (TWSS). Go get it, Click!
P.S. I see that ALL of the MVP finalists in both leagues came from teams that didn't even earn a WC spot. Corch must be livid somewhere!

OOF!
Fortunately he's not a pitcher (labrums are much worse than TJ for pitchers), but he throws left-handed, so this isn't a small thing.
You'd expect them to either want to hang on to McCormick instead of viewing him as a trade piece, or maybe get some outside-the-organization help. The way the tweet is worded makes it sound like he won't even be ready for rehab games until sometime after the start of the season. That would seem to be at least the first month, if not two months, missed.

That's really bad news. A torn labrum could end his career depending on the severity (even with surgery).

Great, the only real CF we have had labrum surgery. We all saw how neutered that injury made Tatis.

Kidding about Corch aside, it would've been nice to see Tucker for MVP finalist

1. HELL no to Díaz. 2. It is an equal need, not greater. 3. Sign Marte.

Click said that with Javier, they’re decent with the rotation and that Díaz would be good at shortstop. Crane has an importance in bringing back Verlander seemingly over Correa. Things are ass backwards.

Iglesias would be great but no doubt he's looking for the closer's role and Pressly is still here, don't see the fit. Story...no thanks.

Sign Semien to a 4-year pretty high AAV deal. He can play SS while Pena develops, and then if Pena is ready and seems like the better option at SS, Semien can be a super-utility player that can also play some 3B and 2B. The Astros can shuffle Bregman and Altuve around at DH to give them extra rest, and we can let Diaz go after this year and still have good infield depth. Add Canha to the OF mix, and then add pitching depth. Boom, good to go.

Didn't Diaz hit over .300 the first half of the season until he got hurt? Regardless, why would anyone want Marwin over him?

Btw, you can't expect Click to go out there and say "OMG guys we're desperate for starters and SS and OFers, we'll pay anything!!!!"
Obviously he wants to make it look like we're coming from a place of strength and don't need to throw out tons of money unnecessarily.
To me, it seems pretty simple for what we need (if we can get it):
A SS. An OFer. A SP. A GOOD reliever.
Semien Canha Gray Graveman
Semien and Canha can play multiple positions and are solid at minimum with the bat. It allows us to have a very flexible roster defensively when you throw in Diaz. Gray can be a #2-#3 starter if not more, and I don't think he'll be ridiculously expensive. Graveman is self-explanatory.
Altuve 2B Brantley LF Tucker CF Yordan DH Semien SS Gurriel 1B Bregman 3B Canha RF Maldonado C
Castro McCormick Diaz Meyers
Gray McCullers Framber Urquidy Garcia
Pressly Graveman Javier Odorizzi Maton Baez Taylor

Yeah but Straw actually ended up having a pretty nice overall season, especially compared to a lot of the free agent CFers last offseason: .349 OBP 86 Runs 30 SB GG Finalist 3.2 WAR (which would have been 5th on our team out of our position players) And Springer didn't even play half the season.

Why would Click give 4 years, $56 million and forfeit a draft pick for Iglesias when he can sign Graveman for half as ugh and keep the draft pick? Boras wants a multi-year deal for Rodón. No thanks. I think Click will sign Graveman.
