I don't wanna get hopes up but we are the front runners for Josh Bell. And should be acquired fairly soon. Micheal Marino seems to think so after his talks with Mets sources.
Check him out on twitter.

Check him out on twitter. You always come up with off the wall trades but if the Astros were to get Josh Bell I wouldn't worry so much with Lee as the Backup Catcher at this point Though I don't think the Astros have enough to give to Nationals for him. What would they ask for in return

Check him out on twitter. Brian Dunleavy at Climbing Tal's Hill says we could land Bell with Urquidy, Solomon, Siri & Paredes. That'd be sweet; I'm just skeptical that'd be the best offer they get for him

It wouldn't be honest if I put myself in the camp that wants to trade for a bat we can insert in the starting lineup, although I'd like to. I'm against trading Brown and Diaz, and realistically can't expect to land one if I were GM declining to package those guys in a deal Brantley complicated things. Had he not been having shoulder issues, I’d be a lot more content with the current lineup. However, you can’t deny his injury is more than something to be disregarded. I don't know, man. I occasionally forget about him until I see him on TV. And can't really think of a time this season where I said "man, I wish Uncle Mike was at the plate right now"

What would they ask for in return Honestly J.J. Matjevic, Solomon and Ivey. Asking for Urquidy is to much. Urquidy has alot of control left. I could see Urquidy going for Castillo. But not for Bell.

Nats are so far out my hunch is Rizzo wants a prospect in the top 40. Which we don't have. Hope I'm wrong

Bell and Castillo, the two reports have linked us to is definitely an either/or. They're gonna have to decide who to pursue (if that) cause they can't afford both. At least I don't see how

So according to Twitter Names floating on the Nationals Forrest Whitley and Logan Cerny and the Astros may see if they would be willing to take back Yuli aswell with that particular ask of prospects

Wouldn’t be surprised if he is trying to get Finnegan too.

The main issue I’d have with trading Yuli is we don’t know what to expect from Brantley. He may be old but he’s been providing halfway decent production, more than Yuli unless you’re talking doubles.

Okay Nathan. Apparently Abreu was called to the clubhouse from the bullpen. Has he been traded? If he has, who did we trade him to and what did we get in return? Don’t make us wait for the deal to be officially announced.

But Urquidy is a solid #4 starter and is controllable for three years after this one. Meanwhile Bell will walk in a few months. That's a lot to ask for a rental.

If Urquidy is what’s keeping them from Bell, then they’re not serious about a championship.
