Short update.... Pain in wrists got worse, MD said it was a little carpal tunnelish, and a lot age (bs). Probably doesn't help I have used PC's since 1979. 1/4 inch cortisone injection into wrists. Said I might need these periodically infinitum. Now the folly of filling out paper work  is another issue I'll discuss when I feel better. Later all. |

(Warning - PG 13 Content) Well it it great to be back with some semblance of normal wrists) . Today in fact I decided to participate in my local Coffee Klatch which consists of about 8 (+ or - 2) guys I worked with, who like myself are retired. 90% of the conversation centers around politics, sports, personal ailments, and how much our wives are bitching at us. Conversation as usual was lively, I of course gave the details of my deteriorating wrists. Then, I looked over at my friend K____. He was wearing a contraption, with wires underneath his shirt, which I knew was one of those cardio-monitors. I slyly mentioned mentioned that "Wow K___ ...what is that? has L___ slapped a GPS device on to keep up with your ass? (GTH Glance No. 1). About 5 minutes later K___ pulls a out a piece of paper and starts writing on it. I snatch it from him, and asked what is this? Come to find out he has to document all his activities while the monitor in place. On the instructions...... I noticed and announced. You gotta tell these guys every time you urinate and dedicate? isn't that 2 or 3 feet form your heart? (GTH glance No. 2) Finally, I noticed No. 6 on the activity list....... "Record any sexual activity". K__?  I don't see any sex on this sheet? What's wrong with you? I then offered him what I thought was a very profitable dare for him..... K____? I'll give you $100 if you write down on your activity log..... Blow Job with a Smiley Face behind it.  . One condition, you've to give me an update of any reaction or feed back on that entry from the medical community. (GTH look No. 3 and he didn't take the damned dare.) |

(grqndson) To help foster an interest in baseball, I have a pack of baseball cards handy to give him when he visits. Yesterday, he mentioned "Pa Pa..... is the pack of baseball cards missing"? I responded I guess they went missing with tbe cold cokes. An hour later, I notice the Fridge is filled with them. (sigh) |

I'm an old timer who doesn't like or understand soccer. Seems pointless to expend that amount of energy for one goal a game. (Yawn)
Still, I find it interesting that we as a country of over 300 million people can't make this tournament, while Iceland who has a population north of 300 thousand can.
Who cares anyway I gyess.

Not hardly.... If that is a legitimate question and not a joke, then it was the customary pose of the time. There were some who actually thought the camera might capture the soul if you stared into it.
BTW, why are producers determined to use modern makeup techniques like completely plucked eyebrows with drawn on ones substituting for them which is in no way appropriate for the period?

I think it was a Known Fact that Most of the Royals Women back then were in fact quite Ugly. Even all Fairytales always have them as beautiful. Only so that the young girl real it can fantasize.
