Seasons Greetings to all.
I may be in the minority, but I enjoyed having an extremely cold Christmas this year. Yeah, the sound of dripping faucets got old, but the fact we got to use our fireplaces in more than an ornamental way, made the season more...... seasonal.
The cold kicked my citrus crop in the butt again this year.... 2 season in 3 now, but I did have one TX Star Ruby grapefruit that seems to have made out better than others. I hope it bears next year as well.
Grandchildren are also getting to the age, that makes Christmas a lot more fun, and eventful. Of course the oldest one, is pulling the old plausibility card on me, about Santa. You know...... How does one fat old man in a red suit, with 9 flying reindeer give toys to billions of children. So I am guessing this is his last year on the Santa Claus train.
But the house is finally empty again, today, and I for one am glad to get back to some normalcy
