Yeah so were Brees, Murray and Wilson Murray is not a good qb. They did everything that they could to help him and he folds up like a cheap suit when things go wrong. |

Ummmmm The Texans are beating the Cowboys right now 17-14.... Well they actually win the game, probably not, but it's amazing they're actually ahead almost going to halftime.

Probably the most disappointing aspect of the Texans season so far is the performance of the rookie class. Could of had Gardner instead of Stingley and he is going to be defensive rookie of the year and Stingley will forever be injury prone. Could of had Johnson and he is proving to be at least a middle of the road starting guard instead of the whiff machine Green. The second round was no better as we got a no tackling safety who weighs 95 lbs and thinks he is a dozer, and a guy whose life got turned upside down by cancer. in the third round we have a guy who is ranked dead last in all qualifying linebackers in the pff rankings. In the fourth round we did hit on Pierce but man if you have to wait until the fourth round to talk about a rookie that was your sixth choice that hurts.
Lets hope they get a little better this coming draft.

I don't know if it's more disappointing the Oilers/Texans haven't been to a conference title game in 43 years, or that there's been 14 seasons in that time they've won 5 games or less

My happiest memory being an Oiler/Texan fan I was a kid residing out west briefly – Denver beat Cleveland in the Jan 1987 AFC Championship. I hated Cleveland cause the Oilers were in the same division, and I hated the Raiders cause they were on TV every Sunday if you lived in Arizona back then. We moved back to Houston a few months before the Phoenix metroplex got the Cardinals |
