I've seen some LA fans calling for him to be fired. I expect Boone to be next. If Dusty stays on, watch the Yankees go after Espada.... Other question, where does Carlos Correa sign next year? Dodgers, Braves, Mariners, Phillies, Red Sox, Yankees? I don't know, but Trea Turner gets a bigger contract than him.

Yankees lead the Indians 4-2 going into the 9th. I hate to pull for the Yankees… ever…, but I’ve gotta tell you. That young Indians teams scares me much worse than do the Yankees.

After 18 innings? Team's got to be beat. Basically played 2 games tonight. F the Yankees. Go Guardians Indians Still hate the ghost runner extra inning rule? Oh yeah.... I frown anytime MLB and Manfred try to turn this game into a sandlot spectacle. OTOH, any worry or claim of rust is now defintitely dispelled. 18 inning coronary for sure, wasn't it?

Id rather face the Yankees. I think we match up with them better and I think the games will have even more intensity.

After facing the Braves in the WS last year, I much prefer battle tested, though complacent over Young, Hungry, and Angry.......

And if Altuve was a great part of the beating of the Yankees.... Another 18 inning game but with a winning HR by Altuve instead of Pena. That would be sweet.

It would be sweeter if they ripped his shirt off and he looked around for a missing wire and then gave the I do not know motion with his hands and then got mobbed by his team mates

Tonight’s game between NYY and the Indians is delayed due to rain. Looking at the forecast for the next few hours, it may have to be postponed until tomorrow.

No reason they should not play game 5 there tomorrow and the winner fly to Houston afterwards.

Earlier today I looked at the batter vs pitcher stats for our hitters and pitcher vs batter stats for our pitchers against Cleveland and NYY. Overall our pitchers and batters have fared better against NY than against Cleveland this season. That really didn’t come as a surprise to me.

I am more fearful of them than New York. The only thing good about them beating the Yankees, would be the Yankees not advancing.

Like I always say…if you can’t provide a venue to host a game, you should have to forfeit.

Like I always say…if you can’t provide a venue to host a game, you should have to forfeit. If the Yankees advance to the ALCS.. And they get rained out again. Then they should play their home games in Arlington.... Kind of like how the Astros had to play in Milwaukee, for their home games against the Cubs.

So Lance's postseason ERA is down to 2.56. what a gamer. I've been thinking about this recently. JV's post-season ERA since 2017 is...not great. Meanwhile Lance kicks it into high gear in October. Which one is better? I think people would say JV...but for this team, as deep as it is, the playoffs are a virtual lock year after year. So which one is really better for us? Just a thought.

Nestor Cortez going tomorrow on short rest. They won't throw Cole against JV on two days' rest either. Severino on three days rest, or maybe Taillon?

They both serve their purpose. JV can be counted on to eat a ton of innings and provide a high level of stability and confidence in the rotation. McCullers can't be counted on to provide a high amount of innings, but he is money in big games. The question is how to we better use them to keep them both healthy and rested for the postseason? I think it's time JV lowers his workload during the regular season, and I also feel that McCullers needs to be given a few extra starts off during the year. If we can get 20-25 good starts from both of them during the regular season with them rested and ready to go for the postseason, that puts us in our best position.

If LMJ is going to perform in the post-season and JV isn't, then why is that insane? Did you know that JV has an ERA of 6.40 in his last six post-season starts, and that we are 2-4 in those games? If LMJ had an ERA like that in the post-season games, I wonder what your and other's reactions would be?

Sure, but it comes back to the question I've been thinking about; is it wise to give $40+ million to JV if you have to baby him during the regular season (which you can still be successful in without him, due to the depth this team has) in the hopes that he can show up in October?

Seventh inning stretch at Yankee Stadium. Yankees lead the Guarindians 5-1. If the Inguardians find a way to win this, they're gonna be a dangerous team to face in the ALCS.
