I know Federowicz has some work to do getting used to catching guys he hasn't seen since ST. However, he's been among the top hitters at Fresno this year, right up there with Ferguson and White. What we just saw was no fluke.

What we just saw was no fluke. That might make the front office think twice on trades. How many times over the years they bring up a hot shot prospect just to see them fizzle.

I think one reason Hinch went with Fedo this game (besides Stassi needing rest) is that Fedo is the Astros system's top catcher at throwing out base runners. So with BOS, it's good to try to shut down the running game. Not a bad throw there on Benintendi; if it had been a tad to the right, might have gotten him.
