Also, Altuve is hitting a cool .400 with RISP that includes an OPS over 1.000. We need to find a way to get him into more of these situations. I'd love to see a guy drive in 100+ runs with less than 20 HRs. Doesn't happen often these days. He's only on pace for 80ish RBI despite those RISP numbers.

Opposing hitters are batting .311 against Pomeranz this season. Time the the Astros to enjoy a blowout win after the tough losses on the road.

Yeah I was thinking that. Unfortunately I don't trust McCullers against that lineup. Hopefully Betts is sidelined for the game...
I expect J.D. Martinez to destroy us this series.

Obviously Stassi has shown he can crush lefties, but he has now gotten his OPS against righties over .700 as well.
The only player other than Bregman to have more BBs than Ks is Kemp.
Over his last 9 appearances, Smith has a 1.13 ERA and a BAA of .087.
3 of our Top-10 WAR players are making $1 million or less this year: Correa, Bregman, Stassi

It's a good time for the bats to break out at home. Set the tone for this 4 game Heavyweight series.

We need Correa and Springer to start hitting as they are capable and we will be fine. I trust Hutchens is working with both.

Well, I am trying to give the old boy the benefit of the doubt......I know that all players have slumps from time to time, but, Correa keeps making the same mistakes over and over and doesn't appear to be making any adjustments at the plate. He gets himself behind in the count and then swings at pitches out of the zone. Springer is trying to hit the ball 500 feet on every swing, his head is off the ball and the front shoulder flies out. I am not pretending to be a major league hitting coach but I don't understand why no corrections appear to be taking place. Bright spots with the bat right now are Gattis and Stassi. Gattis worked to make adjustments and it is paying off. Maybe Correa and Springer do the same. It's time

If White replaced Marwin and Tucker replaced Marisnick, that would be a good lineup.

Why does he keep starting Marisnick unless he is trying to prove he has no business on the roster? This linuep tells me that Yuli is injured or he would start against Pomeranz

Wow that's just not a winning lineup. Yikes. We better hope Correa and Springer both wake up. This could be a disaster.

I don't understand swinging at the first pitch when a guy is lacking command. Altuve seems to so that a lot. Glad Correa picked it up.
