And hashbrowns, or is that just asking too much? Glad I'm not the only one who was going to make a joke demanding some of those hashbrowns, too.

I like LMC more as a HEB actor than as an Astro pitcher. FTR - he is my least favorite HEB Astros Actor, and that is behind Kyle Tucker, who is the worst thespian ever.

Nightengale: "The Houston Astros have no interest in trading third baseman Alex Bregman, but have privately resigned to losing him in free agency in a year, realizing it may take $300 million to keep him. The money they’ll spend is making sure that Jose Altuve stays with the Astros for life."

Big fan of Bregman, but not for that asking price. 6 years/188M should be the very top, and hopefully a lot less

If that's the case they have a year to work on a backup plan for 3B.

Astros interested in Tucker Barnhart. Another Maldonado. Just give Salazar a shot if it's come to that...

Man that Mariners/Braves trade is rough for Seattle. Gave up a 24-year-old former first round OF just to dump salary, got back a couple of relief prospects with command issues. Dumb disaster for them if they don't turn around and do something good with that savings.

I like the idea I just saw about trading Valdez to Baltimore for Mayo. He is a minor leaguer almost ready to go and plays third base and first base. This deal makes sense.

I like the way some of yall want to trade away our ace pitcher with no one to replace him.

I like the way some of yall want to trade away our ace pitcher with no one to replace him. I'm not sold on him being an Ace at this point. I just think he could be a peak value and we could convert another Bagwell esq type trade for him.

I like the way some of yall want to trade away our ace pitcher with no one to replace him. He sure wasn't our ace in October when it mattered most. He's a headcase even with Maldonado. Who knows what he looks like without him. And he's not going to be resigned. LMJ and Garcia are due back after the AS break. They could also sign a free agent to help replace him. This team has got to get some serious young prospects or the window is going to close soon. I don't think trading Framber is a crazy idea.

1. Garcia has never been as good as Framber. And no one knows how effective he will be after surgery. 2. Crane is not going to sign any good free agent pitchers. 3. Depending on McMullet to do anything but suck? Lmao.

Depending on McMullet to do anything but suck? Lmao. You might not be able to replace Framber one for one (though on the other hand, based on what he did in the playoffs, someone else might actually be better), but they went out and got JV, and have a lot more SP depth than other teams. I'm saying that this team needs controllable young talent more than it needs two more years of Framber and his mental problems.

Astros signed Brailyn Marquez to a MiLB deal. Ex-Cubs top prospect, LHP with 98 MPH heat. Injuries have kept him from establishing himself but he's still 25 and lefties with his stuff are extremely rare. Good project that cost us nothing to acquire.

I'm disappointed LMC hasn't been healthy, but I don't think he's deserving of the hate. He didn't hype himself up as a free agent to try and get some giant contract. He wanted to stay in Houston, they gave him a reasonable extension (partially for what he had already done rather than what he might do), he took it, and he's been hurt. It's not like he wants to be hurt. He's always been supportive of the team and the city, and he's one of our top all-time postseason pitchers. Hopefully he'll give us some more quality work next year. I'm sure McCullers is a nice teammate. Starters are supposed to eat innings though. Even when healthy he labors to do this, and usually by the 5th it's his third time through the lineup

Same old pathetic schemes. Funny how Click was reportedly criticized for believing in Meyers, yet they love him too much to get rid of him.
