It really makes no sense to start Yordan in LF when the DH won't be a lineup regular. I don't see why they don't make Meyers the everyday LF

If they want to be successful they need to rely on some homegrown talent. Problem is, they always trade their talent for players who don’t really pan out. |

When will the Yankees ever learn spending like drunken sailors on super stars that don't jell. When they went with their AAA players in that last series in Houston and swept the Stros it looked like they were changing their MO. They still have a question mark in their pitching. Also Cole has another season on his arm, can he repeat the same performance.

Now that The Yankees have made a big splash in Juan Soto The Astros need to respond. Cleveland is open to trading Straw. I’m thinking Framber Valdez and Jake Meyers for Myles Straw, a solid relief pitcher, a top notch minor league starting prospect and a player to be named later.
