A couple of months ago I'd have laughed about this rumor but the Harder signing ended that. Snell is good, but he doesn't really go deep into games and without looking it seems one of his criticisms is he doesn't pitch a lot of innings. We'd certainly be better with him though.
And if Crane decides he wants him, Brown WILL go get him.

If we're looking for a left handed bench bat that can play multiple positions to make the team...Joey Loperfido has a 1.175 OPS in spring, but he also has a 688 BABIP and 10 Ks. Julks, OTOH, has 2 Ks.

I’m shocked that Montgomery hasn’t been signed yet. He’s the same age as Snell and doesn’t bitch about going out there for the 7th inning. The Rangers would not have won a championship without him last season. He’s just as surgical in his approach and can pitch a complete game if need be. I don’t believe he costs a draft pick either.
