OK, now Hill is a lefty and that means if there is a way to work Tyler White into the game, Hinch should try to get it done. Not sure if or how it would work, but I'd love to see White come to bat against a lefty.

One has to go back to 2014 to find a game in which the Astros GIDP four times. In fact, they did it three times that season. All losses: 4-2 to NYY, 1-0 to TEX, and 6-5 to PHI. \

Thank you George for helping the Astros do something they haven't done since August 7, 2014.
Altuve, Sipp, Gonzalez, and Marisnick appeared in that game and also today's. McHugh is the only other current Astro to have played in that game.
Two homers by Chris Carter and one by Marc Krauss could not keep the Astros from losing. McHugh, Fields, Sipp, and Qualls all pitched.

Tyler White leading the team in OPS. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him still doing it after 100 PAs. He's legit one of the team's most refined hitters. Even if he isn't always at the top of the team leader boards, I would expect him to keep that OPS north of .800 most of the time. |
