Between Springer and Correa the way people talk about them you would think they are top in the game. In reality, they are only Average or just a little above. .270 and .277. I know they can be great at times but they have never shown to be above average on a consistent basis. Springer has been terrible for more than a week and half. Lots of teams would trade us whatever we asked for these two "only average or just a little above average" players. They go into slumps but they are two of the most talented players in the majors. Yes, before his home run tonight, Springer had been in a slump for over a week. But, both he and Correa are the types of players who can get hot and carry the team. Correa always looks tired when he is playing at home. i cannot believe that you referred to these two as only average or just a little above average players. |
