Bregman got a pop up single because the ball hit the ground first. Even if it didn’t, the play had a degree of difficulty to it regardless of the fact that it should’ve been caught, it would’ve been a hit regardless.

We finally pulled this one out and it was another that we had every chance to lose. Great job by the pen......6 shutout innings, 1 hit allowed. Thank you AJ for not putting Giles in the game. Finally, Correa comes through. He and George have looked terrible for most of this homestand. Now, we should win the series tomorrow behing Cole.

Exactly, but, considering how Correa had been going, I would have walked Altuve anyway to get to him.

Maybe that will jumpstart Correa a little.

Lance did okay too.

Good win despite the poor offense. Another one run win since that matters to some people for some reason.
