Altuve finishes with three more walks. He's seeing the ball well. Maybe that will jumpstart Correa a little. Bullpen holds a tie game. Lance did okay too. Good win despite the poor offense. Another one run win since that matters to some people for some reason. Abreu (cough), Abreu |

He is a terrible first baseman, can't play the OF, and would needed for his bat. I can't see this deal happening |

Gattis back to his old self. I appreciate the sac fly, though. He got robbed of a game winning hit...it was a diving play. Give the guy a little credit. Gattis is destroying the ball in nearly every AB. |

He won't replace Yuli or Gattis so why would we need him? If we are going to deal for a bat, it should be an outfielder. Our main target has to be the pen. I wish we could sucker somebody into taking Giles off our hands. Fans of another team need to get to watch him squat. |

I ddi reserve some of those remarks for Marwin as I am getting sick of looking at him take strikes and then stare at the umpire. |

It's nice to see the entire pitching staff limiting walks. The team WHIP is at a mean 1.04. Upcoming opponents the Blue Jays have a team WHIP of 1.39.
Astros' Vegas odds of beating KCR have been at about 75% each game, so over 6 games one would expect the team to drop one. HOwever, only taking 4 of 6 from KCR this year would be a disappointment. Got to hunker down and take the next game from them -- they were, after all, one of the few teams to have a winning record against the 2017 Astros.

I think he can be, yes. Also, he was a closer in college and his ability to pitch effectively for an inning, if needed, could come in handy. Might make the FO more comfortable with the idea of going with a 12-man pitching staff and carrying an extra bat on the roster. |

We need to add an OF bat and I think that bat is at AAA waiting for the callup that is coming soon. |
