George is trying to hit it to right field now so that is good but someone needs to remind him that it is much easier to do when the pitcher is not jamming you inside. I love Springer, but streaks are part of his game. It’s something I’ve become accustomed to. |

So now JV and Happ have both flirted with disaster.
At least Marwin did a good job of running up the pitch count. Working over the Jays bullpen in Game 1 of the series would be good.

at least Gonzales got his pitch count up a little higher 68 through 3 not good numbers for a quality start.

Happ threw 113 pitches his last start. Came within 2 outs of a CG.
The Jays bullpen is tired; they used 6 relievers yesterday.
Preston Guilmet is the only rested reliever. They had Danny Barnes till he had to go on the DL a few days ago.

Lourdes Gurriel has been moved to AAA Buffalo.
They also brought up lefty reliever Tim Mayza to help out the tired bullpen.
