Good job, Joke Marisnickkk. Good things happen when you don't strike out.

Jake always looks like he hasn't bathed in a month, and has been mowing his yard every day. His lawnmower legs made that run though.

George wasn't even running hard. looked that way to me too. as long as they took to field the ball, i was thinking at the time that Springer could beat it out. I think he was pissed that Hinch put on the hit and run.

Springer is looking very run of the mill not caring Player right now. Something is up with him. His play at the plate is really looking bad

Springer can pout all he wants, but Hinch prevented the GIDP and got the runner into scoring position. And it worked.

George wasn't even running hard. Somebody consult the clipboard. George might need to sit a game or two.

That was good hitting. The pitchers pitch up out of the zone should be a pop up or swinging strike.

I'd have been more entertained to see Kemp catch that ball to CF with a nice leap and somersault.

Wonder if George Springer is related to the old Astros reliever, Dan Springer

If Springer’s effort is questionable as you guys say, he needs to be benched.

I'm sure the Jays would really hate it if this thing goes to extras.
Tepera, Clippard, Loup, and Oh have all pitched two days in a row and the pitching coach wouldn't be thrilled to have them throw three nights straight.
Guilmet (ERA 9.95) is rested but about equivalent to Tyler White pitching.
They could get an inning each from Biagini, Axford, and Mayza -- the guy they just recalled from AAA. That's about it.

If Springer’s effort is questionable as you guys say, he needs to be benched. I think he's still optionable. If he's feeling too big for his breeches, the fans in Fresno would like to see him play for a while. No need to be giving Hinch attitude in public like that. Haven't seen it since Fiers blew up at Hinch.

Unfortunately, when the Astros face that type of scenario, they make the pitchers look like Cy.
