Altuve didn't do himself any favors swinging at the early pitches out of the zone. Easy way to go to a two-strike count and that is dangerous with this unpredictable ump.

The plate umpire is doing one of the worst jobs I've seen in awhile...........How much longer does Hinch have to watch Springer be an automatic out before he at least pulls him out of the leadoff spot? He needs to be pulled out of the lineup because he is killing this team with his at bats. I repeat...........if he isn't doing a better job of hitting it at home than he's doing in the game, he isn't getting it done.

I don't think they are. They're mad at themselves and mad at the ump. Gotta keep hustling though. I don't mind a slump because it happens. No excuse for laziness though. |
