A friendly reminder to never stick your fingers in a running fan.
Right as Dallas was about to throw the first pitch, I went to adjust the electric fan next to my desk. I kinda forgot I had removed the cover yesterday to clean it. Stuck my middle finger right into those blades. Thank goodness they make them out of plastic now or I'd be in the emergency room trying to get my finger reattached.
Just to say, if the Astros do come back and win today, it will be the result of the blood sacrifice I have offered to the baseball gods.
