No for the Hype I just not that enamored with Springer.  Right now something is up with His Head.  As he strikes out with the Bases loaded.  He should not be leading off and certainly is not the player you want at the plate with men on right now.  He is killing the team with his offense.

I think Springer needs a 10 day DL to get his head out of his rear. Something is definitely wrong with him this year.

Looks like typical Astros baseball... Load the bases with a star at the plate and go home hungry. But still win in the end.

I know White's walk ended up producing nothing and that his contributions thus far have not been glamorous. But, he's reached base safely 6 times now in 12 plate appearances. Tough to do in the big leagues. The XBHs will come if he get playing time. He's just such a great guy to have around who will generally not kill a rally.

Also, White's career GIDP% is only 8%, much lower than the league average of 11%. 8% is like Yankees territory this year; tough to do, but White does it by elevating the ball and walking a lot.

The 1990 Red Sox did it 174 times.

That team won its division with 88 wins, but got swept by the A's in the ALCS. 

Astros are on pace to GIDP in the low 160's but I'm sure Altuve or Springer can pick up the pace if we ask them to.
