No one in here is calling for Springer to get sent to the Farm. How long are you willing to watch Springer in Leadoff and continue to either Strikeout or Flyout and DPs which he has hit into plenty |

He's not a leadoff hitter. |

Sometimes I think Hinch is Loyal to a fault. Right now no manager would have continued to bat Springer Leadoff without a couple days off. Hell, he gave Altuve a day off when they needed his bat in the lineup.

Altuve got caught in a rundown between first and second. Bregman perhaps thought he could reach home before Altuve was tagged out, so he broke for the plate, but they threw to the catcher and that initiated a second rundown. Bregs was out trying to get back to third. |

This is where Marwin has value. An adequate hitter that can fill in for injury stints like this. We're going to lack a good utility player when he's gone. Thankfully we have a couple guys that can move around a little...just not as easily.
