He should be called up soon..so Marwin can help out the IF. With Carlos going on the DL tomorrow, I hope Tucker is called up to take his spot. I think they already said Reid was being called up.

AJ Reed was brought up to replace Yuli. There's still a corresponding roster move

Cole and Verlander coming up. Good chances to extend the streak there.
Morton vs Snell in Game 4 could be tough but Charlie can handle it.

The Orioles are on pace to win only 46 games this season.
Since World War 2, only 3 teams have managed to win fewer games in a full season:
1962 Mets (40-120, 160-game season) 2003 Tigers (43-119, 162-game season) 1952 Pirates (42-112, 154-game season)
There's bad, and then there's fielding a team that might not compete terribly well even in AAA.

One of those games had a blown save by Britton before he even got his first out.

So far, with his .719 OPS for the month of June, Springer is having his worst month at the plate since August 2017, when he hit for a .609 OPS and .200 BA.
The good news is that he came back to post an OPS of .801 in September 2017 followed of course by... World Series MVP.
I'm counting on George to have a big July. But there's no harm in letting him go fishing for a day.

Seems like only yesterday when the good guys were in that spot.

Mike Trout is slugging .640 and his OBP is .460 So? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk statistically, I think that makes the best season any hitter ever had in history .. provided he maintains the current pace. Babe Ruth never had a season that good

yeah but isn't Trout on pace for 45 homers? Yes. And he was on pace to set the season WAR record but he needs to get healthy and heat back up. 0 HRs in the last two weeks, and down right less than mediocre the last week.

The fact that he was on pace for a higher WAR than Ruth's best season is insane. I don't know much about that stat, but I assume it has to include the ground Trout covers in CF

Yeah, Bagwell's baserunning ability is really what helped separate him from other power hitters of that time, especially 1B. That's why he ended up with a higher WAR than guys like Thome who played longer. They were amazing hitters, but pretty one-sided. Thome had one season with a WAR over 7 in his 22 seasons. Bagwell had 4 in only 15 (including his final season which was only a quarter.

The Bambino was CS 21 times in 1923I always focused on the fact that basically quarter of his hits were HRs, but he still hit over .340. Ridiculous.

Seeing some say that Joke Marisnick has a WAR of 2.4 or something makes me highly dubious of the stat.

Seeing some say that Joke Marisnick has a WAR of 2.4 or something makes me highly dubious of the stat. On pace for 2.4. He's currently at 1.2 It's certainly not a perfect stat. I personally feel it gives too much for defense. It's still an interesting stat to show overall value.
