Reddick gets the blame for allowing their second run to score, but, there are two other culprits......AJ Hinch and Altuve. Hinch for making that dumb pitchinng change and Altuve for looking like a fool on that strikeout. Hinch was going to make another stupid move if a miracle happened and Marwin kept us alive.....He had Jethro in the on-deck circle to pinch hit. All in all.....nothing unusual........we always suck in this ballpark. It's true, Castillo tried to serve Altuve the game-tying RBI on a silver platter, and Altuve refused it.

Pinch runner stays there and doesn’t attempt to steal, Reddick hits into a typical DP, and Marwin’s weak self grounds out. For the first time, I question the team’s effort. They mailed it in every game this series.

Thanks Reddick .. this loss is on you. Way to be thinkin bout the latest WWE smackdown instead of how many men are on base It’s not just Reddick. They all tend to have mental lapses in pressure situations at times. Also, don’t forget Yuli in the 1st and Altuve in the 8th.

no glory in taking a walk. No, it's better to look like a fool striking out when a walk would tie the game. Now, Hinch is giving his post-game excuses.

Hey, that was said out of passion. You hate the ones you love. At times, yes. Seattle ain’t going away anytime soon.

What I hate is this "oh, well" attitude Hinch and some of the players have after they suck like they did this weekend. No excuse for losing a series to a team with this bad of an offense.

It boggles my mind. If he likes those pitches so much, he should maybe stand closer to the plate.

the stars were aligned against us. We were getting too far ahead of Seattle and it is too early in the year to put all the suspense to bed

With as pathetic as our offense was, we were lucky to get one win in this series......Outside of 5 home runs, we didn't score in the four games. No excuse for that. I wonder if they continue refusing to bring up Kyle Tucker. You have to feel bad for Morton and Cole to pitch the way they did and still get losses because of the pathetic effort by the offense.

Reddick you are not earning your thirteen million dollars today. The brain fart Reddick experienced when he held the ball and let the runner score from third is something you expect to see when you are watching 7-9 year old kids play. You seldom see that happen in the 10-12 year old Little League age group and beyond.

Me too...these sorry bastards just went 17-6 or some shit in June. This team is going to back to the playoffs....with a good chance on winning the WS....I HATE THIS TEAM TOO! If this team continues to play like they did in this series, they won’t get past the wild card playoff game.

Agreed.........Reddick looked like he had no clue what to do and seemed amazed that the runner kept going to score the second run.

Losers find a way to lose. In this series the Astros played like losers.

If not for the defense playing badly, the Astros win 3 of 4 this series.

I don’t know why a pitcher would ever throw him a strike with less than a 3 ball count on him. He is a great hitter, but has little plate discipline. Fortunately he will make contact more often than not, regardless of how bad the pitch is. He and Vladimir Guerrero are the best bad ball hitters I have ever seen. That said, if we’ve got the bases loaded, less than two outs and just needing a walk or flyball to the outfield to score the tying or winning run, I would rather see Bregman at the plate.

He has no plate discipline most of the time. He has always chased breaking ball that are low and outside. For him to continue to do the same thing over and over shows a lack of intelligence. With that said, I would not trade him for any other player and that includes Trout.

Altuve still has a SLG over .460 and is on pace for 10+ HR and 40+ doubles.
He had a rough night, but he'll come out of it soon.
The whole team minus Gattis and Bregman have gone cold, but most of them have too much of a track record to not come back fine. As bad as they're playing, they're still the 3rd best team in baseball.
Things will pickup.
