7 PM Start
McCullers (RHP) for the Astros Lopez (RHP) for the White Sox
It will be interesting to see if they adjust the lineup for the right hander. I'd love to see Kemp anyway. Let Springer double down on his last AB. I think Marwin's back in the lineup. White's coming off good ABs, so there's too many players I want in there today.

Didn't gain any ground on Seattle, but we did move up to 1.5 games behind Boston.
Several of the White Sox players have very good numbers against McCullers in a small sample size, while the Astros, in limited appearances, do not have good numbers against Lopez. Hopefully the momentum from the comeback win yesterday will be motivating. It would be nice to see them have an offensive laugher.

GDT's are replacing these as an alternative morning alarm clock.

Springer could be in the hospital with Ebola, and he’d still be pencilled in at leadoff.

Springer could be in the hospital with Ebola, and he’d still be pencilled in at leadoff. No doubt. After that game-tying hit last night, he is firmly entrenched. Personally, I'd like to see Bregman leading off with Springer 7th or 8th for awhile.

According to Rotoworld, James Hoyt has been traded to Cleveland for a prospect.

According to Rotoworld, James Hoyt has been traded to Cleveland for a prospect. Hmm... just hours after the Refugees were discussing whether he had any future with the club.

honestly, if the Astros pitching staff weren't so good, Hoyt would have a good chance of being in the bullpen. He can be a decent reliever for Cleveland, esp in low-leverage situations and based on certain matchups.
At Hoyt's age, it's good for the Astros to trade him in for a younger player.

Gettng a good younger player for Hoyt is a good move. Hoyt has had chances to prove he could help us and never has produced. Maybe a new organization will be good for him.

Hoyt was another Fields. He seemed great on paper, but it didn’t translate in the majors.

Somehow I wouldn't want the Astros to face Hoyt in the postseason. I can see him striking out the side in the ALDS...

Hoyt was another Fields. He seemed great on paper, but it didn’t translate in the majors. I liked the way Fields pitched to the Astros in the World Series. The way he pitched *for* the Astros in the 2015 postseason, not so much. But in the regular season he had some great stretches.

Indians must be fairly desperate for MLB-ready relievers to trade a young pitcher for a middle-aged reliever.

Indians must be fairly desperate for MLB-ready relievers to trade a young pitcher for a middle-aged reliever. Just checked stats at mlb.com. Cleveland relievers rank 28th in mlb in ERA at 5.01...just ahead of KC (5.08) and the Rockies (5.45). Man that’s a far cry from the last couple years.

Indians must be fairly desperate for MLB-ready relievers to trade a young pitcher for a middle-aged reliever. They lost Shaw to the Rockies, and they’re about to lose Miller and Allen to free agency this offseason. That’s a lot.

Lost Smith to the Astros. Oh yeah. I guess I forgot since he was their midseason pickup. Last season if you were trailing the Indians after 6 innings you were pretty much toast. This year teams can’t wait to get into their bullpen.

I predict HRs from Springer and Gattis. You do this a lot Predicting. Seems to backfire more often than not. It's like Bad luck and Good Luck. Let's just hope last night game has given him some semblance of Confidence and he can go back to be the Springer we know.
