Outside of Whitley and Tucker, I'd make any prospect available in the right deal. Try to keep Alvarez if possible, but, we need a bat. If that isn't obvious after this week, it won't be obvious. Just as I was afraid of, Luhnow waits and waits and waits. He got a good defensive catcher with a weak bat and a solid right-handed reliever. We still need a left-hander and a bat. I wish I was confident that he will get them. But he also got two relievers before the season started, one is now the team closer...Plus, traded for Gerrit Cole, who made the All Star team...Luhnow has not been sitting idly, Astros fans are getting spoiled/impatient....I trust the best GM in baseball... All of those were great moves. I am not saying he isn't a top GM. I just hope hanging on to prospects at the present time doesn't cost us. We don't know for sure when we get Correa or Altuve back. This is just an average team with those two out of the lineup. I think he needs to turn loose of some prospects and get us a good bat and a lefty reliever. I can't believe we don't hear much talk about Iglesius being a target of some playoff contenders.

Well probably because the asking price for Iglesius is higher than giraffe p*ssy....Luhnow just traded the team's 10th and 15th best prospects for Pressly....so it is not like he his hoarding....there just so happens to be not that great of players seemingly on the trading block right now....so he is not going to overpay for mediocrity.... We have the best rotation in baseball....when Altuve and Correa comeback, we will have a top 5 offense....I have been always wanting a veteran bat for this team, even before the season started....so I am just patiently waiting, I trust Luhnow.

I agree with not trading prospects for mediocrity. It is also Luhnow's practice to be tight-lipped until a deal is done so we don't know what he is up to.

We really need a bat. Jose Altuve is on the DL. Luhnow should trade for Jose Martinez now so AJ can play him at second base tomorrow vs Seattle and move Yuli back to first base.

It’s just silly that Kemp isn’t playing 2B to begin with.

Maybe Luhnow will trade for Jose Abreu so he can play second base and Yuli won’t have to.

Dont' worry, it is just Nathan being Nathan.... Yep not creditable at all Marlins setup man Brad Ziegleris “likely to be moved soon,” tweets Heyman, who notes that the Cubs and Red Sox are among the more plausible landing spots. The Indians and Astros, too, are potential destinations. The Sox are plenty familiar with Ziegler, having acquired him in late July just two years ago for the stretch run. A free agent at season’s end, Ziegler has been on a terrific run dating back to June 1, yielding just three runs on 15 hits and 11 walks with 22 strikeouts and an 81 percent ground-ball rate in 29 innings. He struck out a pair in a perfect inning of work today. Ziegler is earning $9MM in 2018 and is owed about $3.05MM of that sum through season’s end.

Healthy we have the best team hands down. If Correa gets hurt again, or Jose is hurt more than we know....The season could end soon. I think we can all agree that the offense is nothing special without those guys. I'm not sure what trade possibilities exist that'd make up for not having them in the lineup

This forum: "WE MUST TRADE FOR NEW PLAYERS!!! THAT'S WHY YOU BUILD A FARM!!" Also this forum: "DEW NOT TRADE THIS LIST OF 357 TOP PROSPECTS!!!! GET SOME TEAM'S BEST PLAYERS WITH THESE SCRAPS + TANNER BUSHUE!!!" There's only so much Luhnow can do when critical guys are out hurt

Correct I'm just telling you what it says. It wouldnt let me copy it. It would only hyper link it. Apparently he wants a bat badly and could be persuaded to jump at a Pitcher of interest. Idk what a pitcher of interest is but I hope its Yates

I can tell you did not create that on your own, because everything was spelled correctly..so which site?...Ziegler is a 38 year old RH reliever, who doesn't have top end stuff. So No thank you. .

I hope we stop hearing about Luhnow looking for a SP. I thought that was already addressed in the offseason.

Dont' worry, it is just Nathan being Nathan.... I heard Trout is on the radar... any truth to this rumor?
Another source told me that Tony Gwynn is coming back from the Grave for one last hurrah. Apparently the time off has healed his body to a solid 25 year old again? Not sure if he's been playing in the God League at all as I'm still trying to find stats for him. Worth a shot!
