Looks like Luhnow is screwing the pooch like he did last year at this time. He's brought in two good (potentially great) relievers that are controllable beyond this year for only minimal loss of prospects so far. I don't think he's screwing the pooch from a player standpoint. If he is high on White and Kemp continuing to be effective MLB players, he is probably thinking he has the offense he needs once Altuve and Correa get back. Hopefully... |

I believe the OF market is the low this year. Might be perfect for the Astros I just cant see the Astros doing nothing at this point everyone has made moves to improve we haven't improved enough... |

Same reason I knew Quintana would not be the same pitcher he had been before and regress. White doesn't possess the mentality to be that great of a hitter.
You look at players reactions when they complete an AB (frustration, hopeful, excitement, determination). These traits tell more about a players attitude as they approach an AB then simply just how they swing because they will tell how a player handles stressful situation. I don't see it in him. He has shown to be better than JD Davis, Fisher and Reed of course but will never been on par with even Reddick for our ball club.
