You nailed it, at this point picking up anything of quality would be a crap shoot. McCutchen was put on waivers on Monday. Still no word that any team has claimed him. I didn't catch the news on Cutch, isn't he a FA after the season. I will have to check COTS. Yeah he is, man do the Giants have a lot of bad contracts. |

Apparently either some team claimed him or he made it through the waiver process unclaimed and a trade is in the works. |

McCutchen was put on waivers on Monday. Still no word that any team has claimed him. There's just no excuse to not pursue McCutchen at this point. He's cheap, he fills a need with at minimum solid performance, and he shouldn't cost a lot in the prospect department. Any team with a less favorable waiver position than the Astros pick up Cutch, I will then go from a Luhnow #1 Fan to about Corch Level of him ( likes him but quick to toss him)....You get Cutch if he falls to you, no excuses!!!! (times 100 !!) |

This is that long-haired ugly Motter who played for Seattle last season.

Still no word indicating that Cutch has been claimed,but I’m thinking that since the Giants have already said he won’t be in their lineup tonight, some team has told them that they will claim him and trade for him if they get a chance. |
