If Springer continues to press at the plate, the offense is going to sputter no matter where he bats. He showed that a couple frames ago The farther down the order he bats the fewer at bats he will have to make the offense sputter. Batting first, the 1st-inning at-bat is the critical one. After that the order doesn't make much of a difference

After that the order doesn't make much of a differenceCan we agree that if a guy is batting first in the order and plays the whole game, no other player in the batting order will bat more times in the game than he does? Don’t you want your batters who are producing to be the batters who will get the most chances to bat during the game? Yes? I thought so. Therefore, it does make a difference where he is in the batting order.

I get what everyone's saying about Kemp batting first, but there is the possibility Tony might start pressing there .. and his approach has been excellent so far

Man, Springer, pull off a hit and run for once. Always whiffing.

Altuve's already shown his greatness batting first. My hunch is if Hinch makes a change that's what we're gonna see. Since Kemp is a trade chip though, he's probly under Luhnow's orders not to mess with that

I still would like to see Altuve, Bregman, Correa and Yuli at 1-4 when CC returns.
