Angels go under .500 for the first time since Game No. 1 this season. (March 29th) Would love to hear from the Ace for a commentary.

Interesting trivia. We were outhit 7-5. This isn't the first time they were out Hit but won the game. I remember a few other times this year.

Verlander with win no. 198. He has 2,599 K’s, eight away from Glavine.

HOF lock if he walked away today? Yeah, an MVP as a pitcher these days is pretty impressive.

Mike Fiers shut out the Red Sox today? From a MLBTR: “Tigers right-hander Mike Fiers started against the Red Sox on Saturday, but he may find himself on Boston’s roster soon. With the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline nearing, the Red Sox are one of several clubs “evaluating” Fiers, Buster Olney of ESPN tweets.” I hope the Red Sox get him.

Verlander still has the Angels number......Outside of the Springer grand slam, we got NO hits from the top 4 hitters in the lineup. 5-9 won this game.

I kept thinking he is pacing himself this year to not be worn out by Sept. Thought it is time to step it up. Not so much for the batting title but I just don't think you can turn it on and off so quickly and be at the top of the game.

The bottom of the order has been doing that quite often lately. if Altuve plans to win a batting title this year, he needs to get his act together. I'd just like to see a little more power from him.not necessarily HRs, but some more doubles would be nice. And he's virtually given up stealing when he has good success the last couple years.

And he's virtually given up stealing when he has good success the last couple years. Exactly. I really don’t care about his homers, but he really needs to hit more gappers and liners and up those doubles and triples. He’s in a bit of an MVP hangover. Oddly enough, it seems like a lot of his warning track shots this year would’ve left the park last season.

I don’t think Jose is winning MVP in 2018 unless he goes on a rampage the last 2 months.
