I don’t think Jose is winning MVP in 2018 unless he goes on a rampage the last 2 months. Trout, Betts or JD Martinez...I would think are ahead of Altuve....I am hoping he can continue his streak of being the hits leader.

I just want him to continue to lead in hits and average. Betts is giving a real run for the money on average though.

When he’s not playing, anyone can take the MVP with a good season.

Mike Fiers shut out the Red Sox today? From a MLBTR: “Tigers right-hander Mike Fiers started against the Red Sox on Saturday, but he may find himself on Boston’s roster soon. With the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline nearing, the Red Sox are one of several clubs “evaluating” Fiers, Buster Olney of ESPN tweets.” I hope the Red Sox get him. That'd be like when they got Fister

The same Fiers we all wanted to be tarred and feathered? Wow... Keuchel's the new Fiers. He's been pitching great recently though

It all depends on your definition of the MVP. Trout is a once in a generation best player. He'd make any team better if you replaced their best player with him.

One man can't make his team win a championship. Yes, any team in the top 5 right now would become the favorite to win it all if he was sent to them.

He can’t help it if his team is loaded with bad contracts and underachievers.

Trout is one of the really good players whom I watch often, but never find myself saying, "Wow, what a play!" or "Wow, what a bomb!".

He has been very consistent throughout his career at a top level. Which is why he has that reputation. Though you never really see any plays of his in the Hi-Lite Reel unless its a game-winning HR Houston has had a lot of luck pitching against Him vs them pitching against Pujols who has killed Houston over the years.

Trout is one of the really good players whom I watch often, but never find myself saying, "Wow, what a play!" or "Wow, what a bomb!". Because he makes it look easy.

His infield hits and steals impress me a lot. The guy is faster than Altuve.
