With so much time elapsed between the posts and the problem being reported, I don’t think it’s an active member. I wouldn’t be surprised if Eddie did it, or if the host simply monitors posts.

WTH? I like this board and I've grown to like most of you folks. Some of the content crosses my personal line of good taste, but I tend to avoid the crap and the crappy posters. Proboards, right or wrong, is compelled to follow the law. We all follow laws and rules with which we don't always agree. Like it or not, they have the right to squelch free speech on their server (which is why private property ownership goes hand-in-hand with free speech, but that's a different story). Bortaz set up the board (for which I'm grateful) and moderates it because no one else wants to do it. Cut the guy some slack (even if he is a bit snarky and a grammar Nazi). I wish all of you would stay, but if you feel like following their rules is too burdensome, then maybe it's time to go.  |

You're only "guilty" of loving your country, Coach. No shame in that. The patriots will win at the end of the day, we just got (a lot) more work to do. The guilty parties here are the sell-out government leaders who precipitated the cultural crisis we were discussing, and their lackeys in the media (both print and online) who are working to destroy the USA. They know their days are numbered, that is why they are lashing out with futile attempts at censorship. As soon as i read about this, I knew that i was the one the person complained about. I have never made a secret of my dislike and distrust for Muslims. I think either a member of this board who chastised me for labeling all Muslims due to the actions of a few is the one who reported my posts. I don't remember the name of the member,but, I recall exchanges I had with them about Islam. I doubt if this person has the guts to take credit for reporting my posts. I didn't threaten anyone and didn't deliver a "hate speech" as liberals like to whine about when someone disagrees with them. It is a shame when a coward doesn't have the guts to make complaints out in the open and whine behind your back. This could be Eddie returning to cry some more, but, I think it is one of our members.....they know who they are and that they don't have the guts to reveal themselves. i am sure I went too far in some of my anti-Muslim comments. But, we need to keep in mind that it wasn't Baptists, Methodists, or Catholics who flew planes into the WTC and the Pentagon. I'm the one that argued with you, but I have never ever reported anybody for anything on a message board. I don't let stuff bother me that much over the internet. I don't have any issues with board drama, both watching it or participating in it. I think your opinion and views on this topic are foolish, and I have no problem saying that out in the open. But you're entitled to your opinions and views and I have no issue with you posting them. I'm not conservative or liberal, but I think both sides can say whatever they like as long as they don't get butthurt if people disagree with them.  |

Unfortunately, the people who have been in power the past few decades do not allow children to learn the actual history of Islam so that they can decide on a rational basis whether it's wise or foolish for Americans to allow Muslims within their borders.
Slowly, as the nonsense of the Barack Hussein administration gets rolled back, it's becoming possible to discuss history that doesn't conform to "Common Core" standards.
This video is *not hate speech*. If it were, Youtube would have removed it long ago. It gives some insight into why European countries maintained the policies towards Islam that they did.

We are all fans on here right now and though some of us like to venture out and talk a little smack about things other than baseball it always seems to be those types of topics that go outside the realm of good judgement. If there is a way to segment the board and have an area that is closed off from anyone other than members and the baseball and non controversial topics left for all to view then that should cut down on problems. Even if this is possible it would require moderators to move topics from one area to another when the conversations get out of hand so that would be more work. If this can not be done then by all means make it members only.

Is it possible to create a free speech zone? Will the host go for that assuming it's a password protected area with the usual disclaimers that venturing into it may cause offense?
