67-36 6 games up in the division 4 games behind Boston for the overall lead .650 winning percentage (on pace for 105 wins) 1st in run differential at +194 Morton vs. Gray Morton is due for a good game and the team should feel pretty motivated coming back to take yesterday's game with style. They need to cut back on the mental mistakes though... I know most of us are expecting more from Altuve, but it's pretty telling when a guy can go 2-5 (and almost had a 3rd hit up the middle) and his overall production goes DOWN a little. If he could run into a couple extra base hits he could go on a big tear. If... Gray looked good his last game. They need to be not be a afraid to play some small ball. When is the last time we had a stolen base?

I am trying to be patient with Tucker because I remember how bad Bregman looked when he came up and I wanted him sent back down.....glad he stayed.  |

Houston stretched out Gray a little there and caused him to pitch 13 times to strike out two of them and get a grounder by the third. Strong showing so far against a guy with a 5+ era. 9 up 9 down with nary a whimper.
