Lot of pitches in that inning for Verlander. 24 to be exact. No runs and no hits. Maldonado keeping Verlander out of the hitter's hot zone.

I do not think so but the hitters have to give him about a 6 or 7 minute break and not swing at the first pitch.

that fourth pitch to Reddick was off the plate a full ball and the ump called it a strike. Changed the whole at bat. Bad call, they gave Verlander as much break as they could without a hit so hopefully it was enough to shake it out.
