86-53
.619 winning percentage (On pace for 100 Wins.)
3.5 games ahead of Oakland in the division.
9.5 games behind Boston for overall lead (1 game behind NYY for 2nd best overall.)
1st in run differential at +227
Team OPS+: 112 Team ERA+: 129
99.9% chance at making the postseason.
The "shitty" and "boring" guys look to increase their winning streak to 5 games. Framber versus the underwhelming Odorizzi (whom McCann and Altuve have destroyed in the past).
Keep the winning going!

A win tonight would really put the heat on the A's. Valdez has been a real pleasant surprise so far and he really did not deserve the loss last week. Maybe we can keep the early scoring mini trend going and keep them from thinking that they have a chance.

Yeah, no reason they shouldn't keep it going tonight, but you never know. I feel like Altuve and/or Correa has got to be due for a huge breakout game. Course, we've been saying that for a little while now.

Carlos has got to realize that he is not good enough to give the pitcher 1 or 2 free strikes on pitches down the gut every AB. I think he is trying to mimic Bregman's approach, but his eye isn't as good and Bregman makes better contact with a more compact swing.

If Correa had sex as often as you think he does, he wouldn't be able to get out of bed much less play. Time to give that a rest.

Astros have a 3 1/2 game lead. Their largest lead this season has been 6 games.

I thought you had a better sense of humor. Let's just say he had a great year pre-Daniella and has been basically useless since his nationally televised proposal.

Sitting Correa is a great idea..He can probably use the rest and some vitamins. Only problem is when you replace him with Gattis in the lineup, I doubt if the offense improves. AJ claims to want to find at bats for everyone....well, it's time he found some for Jake and gives either Kemp or Reddick a day off.

Basically useless minus the whole first half of the season before his injury, you mean. He hit .192 for the entire month of May and was not injured. As I said, his numbers were way down and he was under-achieviing before his "stiffness" and has been worse since. He has basically tanked the whole damn season and seems to be too stubborn or too dumb to change anything. He needs a wake up call.

So if you looked up his monthly numbers you can see that he was good in March, April, and June of the 1st half of the season. With his total half numbers putting him on pace for 25+ HR and 100+ RBI. If his "nationally televised proposal" and too much fiance-humping hurt his performance in May, why didn't it hurt his performance those other months before and after?

Hinch should’ve put Gurriel at 2B and Reddick at 3B, that fool.

When I compare his numbers pre-Daniella to the present, you automatically think I am accusing him of over-humping. But, it is easy to see the difference in his offensive stats when you look at each time frame. You keep right on defending him while he under-achieves, hurts the team, and is too damn stubborn or dumb to change his approach, Only idiots continue getting behind in the count by taking center cut fastballs,. Opposing pitchers know he is doing it and they use his stupidity ag against him. I compared his 2017 stats to what he has done this season........Thee is NOT one offensive category where he is close to being as good as in 2017. He has many more strikeouts already this season in fewer at bats than he had the entire season last year. He is under-acbieving in every way possible

Since you assumed something that I didn't say, I ignored the question because it was irrelevant. You said that I claimed the decline in his performance was due to over-humping, I never directly sad any such thing, There is a difference in saying something COULD be a factor and flatly stating that it is.

And you know this how........did you read it in the National Enquirer?....just kidding.,......We have no way of knowing exactly what he did last year or is doing this year. But, it is obvious that his production this season is nowhere close to what it was last year.

If Correa had sex as often as you think he does, he wouldn't be able to get out of bed much less play. I think that is the point Corch is trying to make. Correa hasn’t been playing much of the year. For example.., standing with the bat on your shoulder and watching hittable pitches go by time and time again is not playing. It’s observing.
