there was an article I read today about clutch hitting. The analysis was based upon the differential between what you do when the game is out of hand ie 8-0 or something like that and what the results are when the game is close. The two best hitters in baseball right now using that criteria are Francisco Lindor and Bregman. Lindor has a very slight edge. Trout sucks at this by the way and Goldschmidt is not even close to those two guys.
