You just have to tip your hat to Mookie, both he and JD are having mvp type years.

White’s contact seems to have decreased a bit the past few games.

Altuve will swing at an outside pitch unless it’s going to be a strike.

Not sure what to think about McCann stealing... it was cute when he did it last year, but he has to know his chance of success if far less than 50%. Why take a silly risk like that when you are down a run? If the Astros are ahead by 8 I could care less.

every game this series has been a grinder and that is exactly what you would expect. We can get into their pen in the 7th so we gotta keep it close so that we can do our late inning magic. We need to sweep.

It’s good that he’s a body that can score on a homer, but it takes a lot to drive him in.

Keuchel is a guy who isn’t very likely to avoid giving up a few runs against good teams so if the offense isn’t killing it, it’ll be a long game. The baserunners he allows sets up bad innings. It doesn’t help that good hitters can beat shifts with his low-velocity pitches.

He just doesn’t fool good hitters as much anymore. The amount of money he’ll want won’t be worth it. The old Keuchel has been gone for too long to warrant a big contract.
