Matt Ramsey is starting to look like a decent insurance arm to have stashed at AAA. No need for him now but nice to know he's there along with Hoyt.

I doubt Jake will be able to hit decently at AAA. He's just too broken. These PCL pitchers often have ERAs in the 5's or 6's so if a guy can't maintain a .260 avg there he probably doesn't belong in MLB.

Josh Rojas has at least one hit in 13 of the 15 games he has played since being promoted to AA. He is currently on a 8 game hitting streak in which he is batting .500 (14-28) with 1 HR; has walked 6 times and struck out just 2 times and stolen 5 bases. He has walked 25 times and struck out 19 times for the season. After 144 at-bats he has almost as many stolen bases (18) as the number of times he has struck out (19). Bet you won’t see that very often.

It seems entirely plausible that Jake may finish the year at Fresno, get released, and seek a minor league deal with some team next year.

Sad to see Emanuel hit a rough patch.
Rojas has been a pleasant surprise. Pretty good showing so far for a 26th round pick

Disappointed in Tucker. Top-5 picks drafted for offense shouldn’t be so lackluster at AAA after killing the ball in Spring Training.

It may be late Saturday afternoon before I post the results from Friday night’s minor league box scores. I am heading out of town to another one of my 11 year old granddaughter’s gymnastics meets. Probably won’t have time to post tonight and definitely won’t have time to post tomorrow morning.
