Until Correa returns I would like to see Davis at 1B and Yuli at 3B. I see JD as another player who, like Kemp, has never been put in the lineup and given consistent playing time and might like Kemp, given consistent playing time, prove to be a productive ML player. I’m thinking Yuli will be moving to DH to replace Gattis next season. I hope that's DH and not DL. Fixed it..

Tyler White is in the lineup for Fresno tonight. JD Davis called up to Houston. I wouldn't be averse to Davis starting at 1B for the rest of the year. My gut tells me if there's anyone from within the organization capable of replacing Gattis' production next season it's JDAnother fan inexplicably wanting to undermine Gurriel

Preferring Yuli at 3B until then isn't really undermining him

You said you want Davis at 1B for the rest of the year. And didn't mention 3B at all.

Well, I can certainly go along with Davis at 1B, Bregman at SS, and Yuli at 3B...and Marwin on the pine, or defenestrated out onto Crawford st.

“Hard to believe that they are not trying to tweak Straw's swing. “ - m240I agree. He is batting .137 (7-51) over his last 13 games. He was batting .385 before he went into this funk. If they aren’t messing with his swing, he must be playing with an injured hand or wrist. Something is not right with him.

They picked up the suspended game where they left off on June 3. All of the batting averages and ERAs were what they would have been had the game been finished on June 3rd. It was all screwy. That’s why I didn’t list the BAs and ERA.
