I’m aggravated at the Hooks’ manager. They had San Antonio down 2 games to 0 and..., needing only one more win to clinch the series..., they had a 8-1 lead after 3 1/2 innings when their manager decided to just sit on his hands while Bailey gave up 7 runs in three innings and let San Antonio come back and win the game. Just a dumb, dumb, move by their manager. With all the arms he has available to him on that team, what was he thinking? San Antonio should have been eliminated in game three. Instead they won games 3 and 4 and have taken the momentum away from Corpus. Now it is winner take all in tonight’s game.

yep that guy had his head up his back side for sure. My money though is still on the Hooks for tonight Huffman...pitching for San Antonio tonight...has been tough on the Hooks this year. Has allowed CC only 1 earned run in 15 innings. Adcock is going for Corpus. He has allowed the Missions 3 earned runs in 10 innings. The key for Adcock is to not be wild and walk too many. He strikes out a lot of batters, but walks a lot too. Hasn’t been striking out as many lately as he did earlier in the season.

I guess it is a good thing I do not gamble for a living Sad. The best team in the Texas League will not be in the finals due to a brain fart by their manager in game 3.

Nick Tanielu has hits in 14 of his last 15 games, batting .450 (27-60), including 9-19 with 2 home runs in the semi-finals vs El Paso. He lost the entire 2017 season to injury, but has really come on strong this season. I look for him to get a invite to ST next year and wouldn’t be surprised to see him do very well and push for a spot on the opening day roster.

Fisher has done so little for Fresno this month, there's no good reason he isn't with the Astros now to be used strictly as a pinch runner.

Well I stand corrected, out of that draft we got James in the 34th round, Deetz in the 11th round, and about 5 other prospects that could end up contributing. We also took Ramon Laureano who we sent to Oakland so that he could torment us, and Jacob Nix who looks like he will develop into something. He is the guy that we settled a lawsuit with that we did not sign because of the Aiken fiasco. Also Jd Davis was in that draft and of course Mr Reed.

He’s better than Marisnick but with less power it seems.

Screws it up for everyone. After that bonehead none-move by Lopez blew the 8-1 lead for Corpus in game three, it just seemed to take the air out of the Hooks players. I mean.., they hit 5 home runs in the first four innings of that game for crying out loud and their manager pissed their effort away. No doubt that had an effect on the players.
