If they bang up Maldonado's throwing arm, I do worry about how it would affect his ability to throw runners out.
I'd imagine Stassi is traveling with the team just in case one pitcher goes on the DL.

I think the rule on injury replacements after the rosters are set is, if the injured player is a pitcher, he has to be replaced by a pitcher and if a position player, the replacement has to be a position player. I could be wrong about that though. |
