Let's say they Sign Yasmani Grandal and Nelson Cruz
Trade Tyler White, J.B. Bukouskas and Derek Fisher to the Diamondbacks for Paul Goldschmidt and Alek Thomas
Then do what you can for Zach Britton, Nathan Evoildi, Justin Wilson and Cody Allen.
Trade Framber Valdez, Brad Peacock and Chris Devenski to the Colorado Rockies for Jon Gray and prospect Jordan Patterson.

Just a thought wondering if it would be an intereast.
KRIS BRYANT could be had.
Idk if I would let him play at 3rd base but 1b if he could play.
But I'm by no means saying to do it. I'm asking and knowing that the price would be really high since he still has loads of control and cheap on contract.
Prospects would be high though no doubt

I know you think he's wonderful, but, he slightly above average an isn't close to being worth what he will ask. |

I am of the opinion that Luhnow will go out after someone who can be controlled for 2 years or more. In looking at possibilities nothing made sense except deGrom and no way we go for him. I'm still holding om to the pipe dream that we manage to get Trout. |

Oops! Responded to the wrong post. I spend a lot of time on a board where the reply and quote keys are at the end of the post. They always have. Thus Jeter over Everett, even though Everett was superior defensively by orders of magnitude. But Everett made difficult plays look effortless and Jeter made routine plays look spectacular. So Jeter got the Gold Gloves. |

Does anyone ever read this Houston Astros True Fans site? It is operated by idiots......they have an article today explaining why the Astros have NO excuse not to sign Bryce Harper. I have to question the hilarity of calling themselves "True Fans". Any collective that needs/uses FB as a vehicle for their folly sounds like Jr. Ranger fans to me. Using FB for a forum site? That's pretty damn lame. Only two valid sites as far as I am concerned. Us and the fuddie duddies at ABT. They are nice folks though. Thanks Bortaz for the Fugee site. |
