These are some of the hypothetical Realmuto packages I've seen tossed around by fans. I have no idea if these packages are close to what Luhnow has actually offered. Would anyone here say no to giving up these players? 1) Alvarez, Stassi, Kemp, Deetz 2) Alvarez, Stassi, Armenteros, Fisher 3) Bukauskas, Perez (Joe or Cionel), Stubbs, Sneed 4) Alvarez, Perez (Joe or Cionel), Abreu, Nova I'd be OK with packages 3 and 4, so long as the Perez in question is Joe, not Cionel. If they’re going all in this season, then all four should be decent options. |

Just looking how the Brewers used him at the end of the season, brings that thought. I guess we will just see what role he will have, 80 plus innings last season. |

Wade Miley is perfect for us as he is.
If one of the Young guys steps up and smokes him, He is a bull pen guy spot starter.
If no one steps up, he is our number 4.
He is solid either way

If he's good for 4 months and then craters, then it'd be perfect timing to bring up a prospect without giving up a year of club control. If he doesn't, we could have another Morton. SO there are possibilities that aren't bad. Of course ANY of the pitchers could go into a tailspin at any time. That's the nature of the sport.

Wade Miley is similar to Keuchel in some respects. Do you think this signals the end of him in Houston? As we all know, you can't have enough pitching, especially late season as the arm strength wanes. I hope we keep both, esp.... if Whitley and JB don't pan out as hoped. |

here is an interesting thought, what if Reed quit eating jelly donuts and took up some kind of slim down exercise routine and lost another 40 lbs. that would make for an interesting log jam at first.
