Well it is a "Trauma" Hospital. <rimshot> I am surprised he hasn't posted from the hospital yet ...Maybe he doesn't have a Smart phone, must just be a dumbass phone. Corch - good luck with whatever you going through.... here, I'll get Corch to answer: JAKE MARISNICK SUCKS AND COULDN'T CARRY TONY KEMP'S JOCKSTRAP.

Still worried Crane might pull the trigger? I certainly hope he doesn't. What a waste of money that would be. Agreed. Use that money to extend JV and Cole.

This story gives new meaning to that old question: "Where's the Beef?" " A woman who couldn't get a beef patty at a favorite New York eatery used a baseball bat in protest.
On Saturday, police released surveillance video of the woman in action in the Bronx - smashing a restaurant's windows after learning the eatery had run out of her favorite food.
Police say the woman at the Back Home restaurant in the Morrisania neighborhood came in on Jan. 15 and ordered a patty. She was told they'd run out, and she got upset.
Authorities say she left and came back to the Jamaican restaurant with the bat. The video shows a woman bashing in two windows." www.conchovalleyhomepage.com/news/weird/ny-woman-resorts-to-baseball-bat-after-patty-not-available/1767905754

In a way nice way to put it and move on, not going the Phillies 2009 route and throwing out the big extended contracts.

Luhnow basically said he’ll never forget 2017, but he’s got to worry about 2019 and beyond. It’s the right call.

If you're lucky, you might draw Shelby as a nurse Did some training at Taub years ago. Didn't see anything like that.

I hope Machado gets league minimum. Lol. Or a minor league deal. I have been hearing there is a possibility of another strike in the near future. If the players do that there will be hell to pay. It seems like the guys over at mlbtr side with the players. They say the rich owners shouldn't keep getting richer. The owners should share the money....Wow...

Then they're Capitalist Pigs.
ps Thou shalt not covet... is translated Greed if you're rich and Envy if you're poor. Both recognize the sin in the other side while blind to their own version.

I guess the players won't be happy until they make a million dollars per week.

A fit for who? Cleveland? OK, they can have him. Still worried Crane might pull the trigger? The farewell card Luhnow wrote means Marwin's not coming back

I hate to see a good guy like Keuchel get effed cause of his agent, but players need to learn to stop signing with Boras even if it's a little overdue

MadBum says he wants on a contender and out of San Fran

MadBum says he wants on a contender and out of San Fran I read a couple Giants fan sites this off season and about 70% of fans on those sites were OK with moving MadBum. It's quite possible the Giants FO considers him a FanFavorite more than the fanbase actually does. Their fans want to win and they're OK with moving on from a few legends near retirement if it will help them to win.

Gattis might be a fit for the Giants, at least for the first half of the season.
It sounds like they don't want Posey to take on too heavy of a workload with him coming off of surgery.
Between their current backup (Aramis Garcia) and Gattis, the Giants could probably get .750 OPS production from the C position while letting Posey gradually work back up to whatever level of catching he is capable of at this point.
At this point, I'd think Gattis would be happy to take 1 year at $2 million, or really any contract that guarantees him a spot on a MLB active roster.

Not sure to what extent the idea of 'opening pitchers' might be fueling MadBum's discontent, but there was this tweet recently:
"Bochy said Bumgarner sent him a text after Zaidi said Giants might use openers. "If you use an opener in my game I’m walking right out of the ballpark."
