Thank you, sir. I’m rooting for you in the schoolins. Thanks. I've done it all before, just never at this age. And never 100% online. Gonna have to find some time management and discipline somewhere... When are you starting again? Your Asian parents are waiting... I’m trying for PT school. I need some interning and physics left to go, but everything else is good. I just finished Chem 2. I think I made the only A in the class, which is unfortunate. Hopefully, this gets my butt in gear.

I think people focus too much on wanting the absolute best ever catcher, because we've never had a good one. Winning has exacerbated the fanbase's expectation of having Ted Williams at every position in the lineup. Not to mention the fact that the better Realmuto hits, the more likely he’ll be switched to a less demanding position. People are obsessed with the position he plays, but if he were an outfielder, his offensive statistics would be half as impressive.

Realmuto is a very good catcher and a good defensive catcher that can also hit is a great commodity, but let's be real about him. He has only had an OPS over .800 once (last season) and he has never played over 141 Games in a season. I never understood the obsession with him as a massive trade acquisition. He makes sense for a win now team with a catching hole (like us before acquiring Chirinos), but it's not like he is a team-changing player that requires multiple top prospects.
edit: If we didn't have an adequate catcher like Stassi and a good prospect like Stubbs, I'd be more favor of going Realmuto. But two years of control (and they'll be fairly expensive arb years) isn't worth it to us now.

We have backups to rest the starter and step in if an injury happens. I am not pushing a trade for Realmuto, but, he could also DH if Hinch wanted to do that. I am pulling for Stubbs to ready so we can trade Stassi. If a decision between keeping Chirinos and Stassi has to be made, Stassi is history.

Ausmus was not a good catcher? I'm talking about offense. Ausmus couldn't hit the ground with his bat. OH YEAH???

Before the Indians traded the salary off what where the talks? Kipnis or Edwin or Yonder with Kluber or Trevor for less value. So earlier on hotstove. They dont have to worry about money know so price for three years of runner up Cy Young contender 200ings 200so Startingnpitcher with three years of control for very very reasonable contract. You think in your minds you wont have to give up Whitley? THATS DELUSIONAL. I've seen some offers that the analysis are talking about three top prospects period. So Whitley Tucker and Alveraz I'll pass And Grienke. 100million over three years. You have two choices pay most of his money lesson your return. Or have Diamondbacks pay some of his money higher there return. But you guys wanna reign Verlander and Cole? How do you plan on this with that kinda money on board before your even out the gate? Plus injurys / Age? Come on guys watch lunhow talk on TV. If the price is Wright. If it doesn't hurt out future. Dont be blind. They wanna resign Cole for sure and Verlander. But you wont be able with Grienke on the books.

"A catcher has no business catching 141 games in a season." Exactly. Which limits his value and the impact of his bat. Same reason why I believe a pitcher should never be the MVP. They're not in enough games (especially in this era).

But, we don't know if one of those will happen. I think any deal involving Greinke involves the Dbacks eating a big chunk of his salary.

Here is some interesting information:
Over the past 10 years the team with the lowest team era won the world series on two occasions, in 2016 Chicago when they also had the third highest ops and in 2010 when the Giants had the 17th highest ops.
Over the past 10 years the team with the highest ops won the world series on four occasions, in 2018 Boston with the 8th lowest team era, in 2017 Houston had the 11th lowest era, in 2013 Boston had the 14th lowest era, and in 2019 when the Yankees had the 12th lowest.
Perhaps we should be worrying more about getting our hitting running on all cylinders versus putting together the best staff.

Sorry if that was hard to read but u get the just of it You shouldn't get so mad at the Cowboys Goose Egg against the Colts, and go punching walls. The Texans by taking out Alex Smith in their game against the Redskins basically gave the Cowboys the division. Lets hope the Texans can beat the Eagles this week, so there is no doubt for Dem Boyz.
