Straw puts the ball on the ground, he will be a threat like Jose. that's the thing, he may well sustain a BABIP of .350 due to his ability to run out infield hits. having fast guys like that around will also reduce the team GIDP rate. We looked at enough DP's last season.

I want to see the prospects do well. I don't care if it's spring training or not. Alvarez, Toro, and Tucker all looking good so far. Tanielu surprised me with the big HR yesterday; have to see what kind of camp he has.

And now Marisnick with the RBI. He's on fire.

Fisher with a hit. They're doing well. If Fisher could consistently hit the ball in the air, he'd be dangerous. His raw power is Top 15 in MLB, right behind Khris Davis and some guy named Max Stassi (whose power seems pretty much lost on the baseball community).

Martin got his outs too quick. It cut AJs on air interview short. He said he'll let Martin know.

Kemp with the stolen bag. All these SBs are good to see. I'm counting 4 so far this spring and haven't even looked at the Braves game.

There is a lot of speed going on. Steals, extra bases on base hits and excellent outfield play with a couple of exceptions.

Reed looked silly on that breaking ball.

That is a force out you don't see everyday, catcher unassisted.

A few years ago, fans expected the world of Reed in ST and this year, fans expect almost nothing. Not sure which situation is easier for Reed to hit in.
Last year he started very cold in ST but then he finished with a flourish the last couple weeks. His best bet at this point would be to impress some other team and earn himself a trade.

The Astros are on pace to get something like 18 hits in this game. What a nice change from last year when the box score often had only 7 or 8 hits to show for Houston.

One thing about Chuckie Robinson is that he shuts down a running game...
they always said the big knock on him is he has no power
well I guess he is proving those people wrong.
