Suspect has been fed some lead and is now in custody, enroute to hospital with gunshot wounds to the ribcage area. Do you ever have to fight the urge to administer too much or too little pain meds to these knuckleheads? I've got conflicts coming from both sides, because I'm a nurse now but used to be in law enforcement and corrections for decades. So, I'd want to euthanize this dude, but my nursing credo wouldn't allow me to do it. |

Of course, there are Doctors who make a career off of ignoring their MD Credp and I suppose they have nurses.

Of course, there are Doctors who make a career off of ignoring their MD Credo and I suppose they have nurses. But it doesn't mean you should.

Armed Frog: I don't know what area you are in but have you heard any skuttlebut about this new Fungus that is Resistent to the Three Major Fungus drugs. Has a very high Kill Rate and Spreads very easy. Read Texas was one of the States that has had cases. NY, Chicago, LA, Texas and couple more
Calling it a Mysterious Infection or as One Guy Called it From The Black Lagoon

Brother-in-law was a prison warden. Sister is a nurse. Two daughters both in the medical field. I wouldn't, say, accidentally bolus KCl or Tridil, but I'd flip the switch on this bastard. |

Now here's an interesting insight into how they train pitchers in South Korea: "No one really starts out as a submarine pitcher. Neither did Park. When he was attending Gunsan Middle, his school’s baseball team needed a sidearm pitcher. The team’s manager asked his players to find the most flexible student they knew who was willing to throw a baseball. They recommended Park to him. “The team only had pitchers who threw with overhand or three-quarter slots,” Park said.
Once he got into the team, one of the drills he had to do required him to play catch while wearing a car tire on his back. “The training method in Korean amateur baseball is a bit old-school,” Park said. “At first, it was a small tire, but as the time went on, they gradually switched to bigger ones.” Because the tires got too heavy for his original posture, he lowered his posture while doing the drill. At some point, something clicked. “As I kept lowering my body, I felt that the arm slot started to fit me better,” he said. “We didn’t really have a pitching coach in our team, so I had to figure that all by myself.”"

Joey Votto seems to be struggling in his age 35 season. 39 PA, 8 H 1 HR 1 RBI. This on the tail of last year when he slashed .284/12/67. Including this year, he's owed 145 million over the next 6 seasons. Wasn't it Thomas who wanted to go all in on him?
